The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of

Hongkong presents his compliments to the Judge of His Britannic

Majesty's Consular Court at canton China and begs to enclose

a notice of a Writ of Summons issued in the above action in

order that necessary steps may be taken to insure its' transmis-

-sion to the Nam Hoi 844y Court at Canton China with the request

that the same may be served personally upon the said Chu Pak

Ngok at No. 45 Shap Yat Po Street, Canton, China, or elsewhere

in China against whom proceedings have been taken in the said Supreme Court and with the further request that such evidence of the service of the same upon the said Defendant may be officially certified to the said Supreme Court or declared upon

oath or otherwise in such manner as is consistent with the

usage or practice of His Britannic Majesty's Consular Court at Canton, China, in proving serving of legal process.

The Chief Justice begs further to request

that in the event of efforts to effect personal service of the

said notice of Writ of Summons proving ineffectual the Court be requested to certify the same to the said Supreme Court.
